Introducing Suda Honten, a renowned chicken restaurant located in Katori, Chiba, Japan. With a focus on Chinese cuisine, Suda Honten offers a wide selection of delicious chicken dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. One of their most talked-about specialties is the Suiso Dori Mapo Tofu, a collaboration between Suda Honten and a renowned chef from a two Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in Singapore. This Mapo Tofu is made using minced Suiso Dori chicken and a rich chicken soup, creating a flavorful and authentic dish. The unique flavors of Sichuan cuisine are brought out in this dish through the use of Pi Xian fermented bean paste, aged for over three years, and the addition of Sichuan peppercorns for a tingly sensation. Suda Honten's Mapo Tofu can be easily prepared by warming the sauce, boiling tofu, and sautéing them together. It can be enjoyed with rice, noodles, or even as a topping for eggplant. If you're in Katori and looking for a delicious lunch, be sure to visit Suda Honten.

Dashimaki, a familiar dish on Japanese tables, is one of my favorite dishes.
This time I ordered "dashimaki" from Chiba.
Founded in 1921, this is a popular chicken specialty restaurant in Chiba. The dashimaki, which is hand-baked by artisans to order, has a rich dashi flavor and the mild flavor of kombu (kelp) added to the egg, creating a mouth-watering aroma.
It is a happy time to enjoy this local specialties at home.
The dashimaki was so good that I ordered the yakitori set. I especially like the skin of the yakitori. It is a perfect accompaniment to drinks.
Beer goes very well with yakitori.
I stopped by for lunch on my way back from visiting Katori Shrine.
It was just lunchtime on a Saturday, but the parking lot and seats were empty, so I was able to sit right away without waiting.
I love chicken so much, so I started with a whole yakitori that allows you to enjoy 12 different parts at once.
I also had the Yakitori-don (me) and my companion had the Oyako-don.
The meat had no odor and felt fresh. Also very soft ☻
It was great to be able to learn about the deliciousness of things like hearts, which I had never eaten before.
The fried chicken and chicken feet looked very delicious, so if I'm ever in the area again, I'd like to order some take-out.
I found this store while googling Google Maps.
Visited around 13:30 on Sunday.
There is a counter inside the store, you can call out to the staff and wait your turn. (Not much waiting time)
I ordered Oyakodon and Ipponkushi.
The rice bowl arrived in about 10 minutes, and a short while later, the single skewer arrived.
Oyakodon with breast meat? So soft.
I think it would be better if the soup stock was a little sweeter.
Each skewer has various parts, and you won't know what you're eating unless you look at the explanatory photo.
Every part was tender and delicious.
There were also many people from outside the prefecture.
I had been curious about this place for a while and came to the store because of Katori City's Pay campaign.
Ordered Oyako-don, Yakitori-don, and 2 skewers that can serve 12 parts.
It was just after noon on a Sunday, and the counter and large box-shaped restaurant were already almost full. The person in the box seat had just finished eating and left, so I took a seat.
From around 1pm, there was a continuous line of people waiting for chairs. When I went out and returned from work around 3pm, there was a line in front of the store.
It looked like it was full with 3 families. It's a matter of timing whether you line up or not.
Charcoal grilled? The aroma is very good, and the texture and flavor are great.
If you're looking for a classic, gentle, melty dish, try the oyakodon, or if you want a full-bodied chicken experience, try the yakitoridon (the green onions on top were delicious, and both the green onions and shishito peppers were delicious). It's even better if the rice is fluffy. .
The 12-part skewer was expensive at 550 yen, but I bought it just for fun. The result is correct! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now I know which part I want to eat next.
There are also many products for sale.
The ethnic flavors seemed to have been developed by the staff, and it was nice to have a homely atmosphere.
It might be easier to buy if there are campaigns or sales, and if you know what's recommended.
I get the impression that there are many regular customers. It was also booked for Christmas.
I would like to go again if I have a chance.

I visited with my family when I was returning home for Obon.
This is a well-known bird shop in the local area and has received a lot of media exposure.
The store clerk's response is basically a bit of a joke.
At best, it's friendly, but at worst, it can be rude.
This place seems to be divided into likes and dislikes, but this may be the case with locally-owned shops.
However, the service itself is good, and the fact that they will grill skewers that are not available on the spot after ordering is ○
The yakitori is a bit pricey at around 160 yen per piece, but each piece is hearty so it's worth it.
The taste is outstanding. The density is also exquisite.
I hope to see you again when I return home.
The parking lot is opposite the store.
It's spacious and can park quite a few cars. …
I went there after reading the reviews.
The parking lot is on the opposite side of the road from the store and can …
Is delicious.
It's just a little expensive. …
